In an effort to support a past pupil Claire Mackin who is heading to South Africa to perform charitable work Mrs murphy came up with the idea of an Easter Egg raffle as a potential fundraiser. Miss Hayes made the Easter hamper herself and the children set about selling tickets raising the remarkable total of £ 400 which will hopefully make a difference to the area Claire will be working in.
