We were delighted to welcome Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins today as new temporary 20mph speed limit signs were officially switched on outside our school. This important initiative is part of a wider scheme aimed at improving road safety for pupils and the local community.
St Oliver’s is one of 40 schools included in tranche 3 of the programme, which, once fully implemented, will see 273 schools across the north benefiting from part-time 20mph speed limits. We are proud to be part of this initiative, helping to create a safer environment for all our children to travel to and from school.
