Friday was a emotional day for St. Oliver’s PS as we bid a heartfelt farewell to our school secretary Fiona McCreesh.
Fiona has been a much valued member of staff for almost 15 years.
During that time she has worn many hats!!
She’s been building supervisor, dinner lady, classroom assistant and secretary. With all those titles, Fiona has been
invaluable to all the three principals she has worked under. Her contribution to the staff and and school community
as a whole has been immense. She will be missed by everyone, especially our children.
On the other hand, St. Oliver’s are delighted to learn that Fiona is spreading her wings and diving into Higher Education.
We wish her every success in her studies and we hope to see her back in our classrooms again in the future.
Fiona was presented with some lovely gifts from the pupils, parents and staff at a goodbye celebration on Friday
afternoon.
